The things families ask us most before their baby starts. If yours is not here, ask on your tour.
We welcome babies from 6 weeks old. Many families enrol before their return-to-work date so their baby can settle in gradually, and we are happy to talk through a start date while you finalise your plans.
Yes. We ask you to share your baby's routine before their first day and our educators follow it as closely as they can. As the routine changes at home, it changes here too. Nothing about our day is so fixed that a tired or hungry baby has to wait.
Every baby has their own cot and bedding and we follow safe sleep practice. Sleep times run to your baby's routine rather than a fixed nap slot on a timetable.
Both are welcome. We store and prepare bottles following your instructions, and everything is labelled clearly so your baby always gets their own.
Tell us at enrolment and our onsite chef cooks around it. Allergies and dietary requirements are handled as part of the normal kitchen routine, not as a special case.
Our Baby Room is staffed to meet the national requirement of one educator to every four children under two years. Our educators also tend to stay with us for years, so your baby sees familiar faces rather than a rotating roster.
We start with a tour and an orientation visit so you and your baby meet the room before day one. For most children the settling period lasts two to four weeks. In those early days we check in with you more often, because settling is easier when you are not left guessing how the morning went.
Yes. You get updates and photos through the day, so you can see how your baby slept, fed and played without needing to call.
Less than you would expect. Nappies and wipes are included and every meal is prepared fresh by our onsite chef. You bring bottles, a comforter if your baby uses one, and a change of clothes.
Our Castle Hill centre is open 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. We are on Garthowen Crescent, a short drive from the Hills District.
