ENROLMENT

Families are always welcome to visit our centre at any time between 7:00am and 5:30pm, our friendly educators will be ready to participate in a centre tour and answer as many questions as families may have. We encourage you to call and make an appointment before your visit as this assists the educators in planning the day and will ensure ample time for your visit.

 If you would like to enrol your child at Dashing Ducks Pre-School, you will be asked to fill in an Enrolment Form. Regulations require that each child left in care, have a completed enrolment form. We ask families to please advise the centre nominated supervisor of any changes. Enrolment forms must be returned with the following:

• Your Child’s Immunisation Record
•  Your Child’s Birth Certificate
•  Parent photo ID with current address (license or passport)
• ID for 2 emergency contacts

Waiting List forms are also available for families who would like to enrol for the following year, or if all places are currently filled. If you would like to make an enquiry about current vacancies please contact us or fill in a waiting list form and our friendly will contact to you.

ORIENTATION

For many children, attending Pre-School may be their first experience of separation from their parents. Most children do experience some anxiety at leaving their parents for the first time so it is important that both educators and parents work together to enable a successful adjustment.

We encourage parents to bring their child to Pre-School once prior to commencement of care for a short period of time in the day. This will assist the child to become familiar with the Pre-School routine and educators thus making your child’s settling in process as smooth as possible.
